PARENT VOLUNTEERS

All of the swim meets we participate in are totally run by parent volunteers.  We have 2 home
meets and 4 away meets.  We will need about 50 volunteers to run our home meets and about 20 to assist in running the away meets.  There are numerous jobs that require no previous swim knowledge or training. You will receive “expert” on the job training at our meets.  Sholem swim parents have proven to be amazing to work with over the past few years so get ready to join in the fun!

Heat Swim Team

For those of you interested in getting your child in the water before summer swimming starts, please check out our Heat section on the Heat Swim Team.  This is a great opportunity for swimmers of all levels that can swim at least a 25 non-stop to work on technique and endurance.

SUITS & SHARKS GEAR

New team suits are available at Body & Sole which is located at 1317 North Dunlap, Savoy IL. The girls’ suits are $55, the boys’jammers are $35, and the boys’ racers are $30. Team suits take about one week to get in and are completely optional. A

As part of their registration fees, all pre-team and swim team participants will get a team wristband and 2013 team t-shirt. Latex caps are also available for participants who need them
(quantities limited, first come first served). 

A limited number of “Sholem Sharks 2011 & 2012 CISC Champs” silicone swim caps will also be available for sale for $10/each.  

We will also have extra swim team wristbands for sale for $1/each and extra Sholem Sharks t-shirts available for sale for $5/each (be looking for an
email about shirt sales).  Get your Sharks gear and support your favorite swimmer!  
 
This year, all uniform sales and pick-ups will be at the Leonhard Recreation Center (2212 Sangamon Drive, across from Sholem).  We will send out another email when items are ready for pick-up or purchase.  We will be able to accept cash, check, or credit card.
